Redeeming store credit at checkout

By the end of this article, a customer’s store credit has paid for a sale.

Attach the customer

Store credit can only be spent on a sale that has the customer attached. Search for them in the Customer field above the cart before charging. See Looking up a customer at checkout.

Redeem it

1. With the customer attached, click Charge.
2. Select Store Credit in the payment window. It shows the customer’s available balance and the amount the sale will charge against it.
3. Click Charge to complete the sale.

If the customer has no balance, the Store Credit option stays disabled in the payment window.
